General terms and conditions of sale
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. Seller
The Maneki Shop store is operated by Patapps, a sole proprietorship operating the Maneki Shop store, with its registered office in Switzerland. Contact: [email protected].
2. Scope
These terms and conditions apply to every order placed on Maneki Shop and delivered in Switzerland. We do not deliver abroad. By placing an order, you declare that you have read and accepted them.
3. Products
Products are described with the greatest care. Photos are for illustration only and models may vary slightly. Our products are prepared and shipped by our logistics partners, with online tracking.
Mystery boxes and ‘surprise’ products: the exact contents are drawn at random and are not known in advance. The fact that the contents do not match your preferences is not a defect.
Mystery model: some items can be ordered as a ‘mystery model’, at the same price as if you chose the model yourself. The model is drawn at random from the models in the series shown on the product page, according to the odds stated there, and is revealed to you immediately after payment. All models in a series have the same price. The model drawn cannot be exchanged for another model.
Free gifts by spending tier: from 59 CHF of purchases (after bundle discounts), you choose a gift from those offered in the basket; from 89 CHF, a surprise capsule is also given free. The model of the surprise gifts is drawn at random from models of the same value and is revealed to you immediately after payment; it cannot be exchanged for another model. Gifts have no exchange value, cannot be converted into cash and are not refunded. If a gift is unavailable, we replace it with an item of equivalent value.
Safety: some products contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3 years of age. The safety information on each product page must be observed.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF). The seller is not registered for Swiss VAT: the prices shown are final prices, with no VAT added. Delivery charges, if any, are shown before the order is confirmed. Payment is made online through our payment provider Stripe. We do not store your card details.
In the event of an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
5. Order and conclusion of the contract
The order process has several steps: choosing products, adding them to the basket, entering your delivery details, checking the summary, then payment. You can correct your details before confirming. We confirm receipt of your order by email without delay. The contract is concluded when this confirmation is sent. We may refuse or cancel an order, in particular if an item is out of stock; the amount paid is then refunded.
6. Delivery
Delivery terms and times are described on the Delivery and returns page. The times stated are estimates. Delivery is made to the address you provide in Switzerland.
7. Retention of title and risk
Products remain our property until paid in full. Risk passes upon receipt of the parcel.
8. No right of withdrawal
Swiss law does not provide for a right of withdrawal for online purchases. Orders therefore cannot be returned or cancelled without reason once confirmed, unless we agree in writing. Your rights in the event of a defect or non-delivery (articles 9 and 10) remain fully reserved.
9. Warranty for defects
New products are covered by the two-year statutory warranty against defects from the date of delivery (art. 210 CO). You must notify us of a defect as soon as you discover it (art. 201 CO), if possible with photos or a short video showing the defect and the packaging. If a defect is established, we will, at your choice within the limits of the law, provide a replacement, a price reduction or a refund.
10. Parcel not received
If your parcel has not arrived by the end of the maximum delivery time stated on the Delivery and returns page, please contact us. We check the tracking with the carrier; if the parcel is lost, we deliver again or refund you.
11. Liability
Our liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, and without prejudice to product liability.
12. Data protection
The processing of your personal data is described in our privacy policy.
13. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, to the exclusion of the Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods. For disputes with a consumer, the place of jurisdiction is the one provided for by law (in principle your domicile or ours).
14. Amendments
We may amend these terms and conditions. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of the order.
15. Language
These terms and conditions are available in several languages; in the event of any discrepancy, the French version shall prevail.
